Virtually all of our voice-over actors are children and young adults who are on the Autism Spectrum. Most of our actors have been through years of speech and other therapies.

All of the voices for Speech Kingdom's social stories are produced by Spectrum Laboratory in a professional recording studio and directed by Cathy McAuley, a multi-award-wining television and Broadway National Tour actress.

Spectrum Laboratory (www.speclabs.org) is a California 501(c)3 Nonprofit that began in 2015 with a laser-focus on educating and empowering autistic and neurodivergent artists to fulfill their passions and dreams for employment in the entertainment industry. Student artists are offered mentorships and training through their own creations of film, music, and animation. They gain exposure to collaborative experiences with entertainment professionals, teaching social and professional skills for success in the entertainment industry.

Many Spectrum Laboratory students have matured and grown to work on projects for their network of clients, such as Disney Pixar, Sesame Street, Exceptional Minds, Special Olympics, and Autism Live, just to name a few.
